Achievements:
As I was the first Accountant for the Universal Health Coverage (project trial) at Kenya’s largest referral hospital (KNH), I developed an accounting framework that is currently in use at all Public Hospitals across Kenya. This simple Excel sheet not only tracked invoices for patients but also tracked likely disease hot-spots thus allowing early detection and prevention. -

Within the one month of working on the Daily Monitoring Project from February 2014 to March 2014 the team managed to make a 37% improvement on productivity and quality. In this, I was able to see the wonderful effects of teamwork on productivity. This has been replicated over the following few months until today as the team has stabilized at over 700 abstracts weekly from 196 abstracts in February 2014.
